Director of Activities
Born and raised in Ohio, Tami knew she wanted to work with the elderly from a very young age. When she was 11, she took care of her grandfather who had Alzheimer’s. At the age of 15, she began working as a nurses aid and continued in that field for several years.
After graduating from high school, she attended Akron University where she studied nursing. She moved to Tennessee in 1984 and worked as a surgical technician in the O.R at Clarksville Memorial Hospital. She also worked in SDS and Endoscopy. She obtained her activity director certification in 2004. All in all, she's worked in the healthcare field for over 30 years!
She currently lives in Gallatin with her husband. She has two grown children: Benjamin and Ashlee and a very special “bonus” daughter, Tabitha. Included in their family are their precious fur babies. Her passions include God, family, animals, and working with the elderly. Her hobbies would be interior decorating, renovating homes with her husband, thrift store shopping, spending time with family, and music (Queen is her favorite!) She is very excited to be the activity director at Creekside!
